Making progress

As January comes to a close I am taking a look at what goals I accomplished and what ones still need more work.

Some of my goals got thrown off because of the plague that hit our house. I didn't get to exercise or work on getting more water in. I have started the new Firm rotation and drinking at least one to two glasses of water a day so even though I didn't meet my goal, I am working towards it.

I did get the three quilts that have been hanging around forever finished. I'm not sure what I am going to do with them because they aren't great quality, but at least they are done.

The other major accomplishment is getting my hotmail account mostly cleaned out. I have over a thousand messages going back to 2005. I got rid of at least 50% of them.

I have been praying more and not just to ask for things. I got into this bad habit of only praying when I wanted or needed something. Now I am trying to do it just to connect with God and thank him for all the amazing things in my life.

My goals for February are:

  • Complete the Firm rotation
  • Drink at least 16 oz of water a day
  • Carve out time at least once a week for me
  • Become more informed about my religion
  • Try to go to church more (hard to do with Jeremy's schedule and the kids)
  • Work on cleaning out my Yahoo mail (that will take way more than a month)
  • Make it a priority to try and keep up with the clutter and find ways to get things more organized

I will revisit the goals around the 15th and give an update on my progress.

Next post should have pictures of my latest projects!

I think we are finally over this plague that overtook our house. Jeremy is still a little under the weather, but luckily he didn't get it as bad as the rest of us.

Now the challenge is getting the house back in order. Everything just kind of got ignored while I imprinted my butt on the couch. I got most of the kitchen cleaned yesterday before our water pump decided to break. We are hoping it is just the switch. Makes it kind of hard to clean though when you have no water.

I have a bunch of craft projects going on right now. Most are UFOs that have been sitting around awhile. I made a goal to get at least two finished this month and I am happy to report that I made that goal. They aren't the greatest because I started them before I really knew what I was doing, but at least they are finished now. I'll post pictures when I find the batteries to the camera.

I had to bribe Cody with playing Paz to get him to take his medicine (it should not be as hard as he makes it) so I better let him play.

Foiled again

I had all these big plans to get organized this month and start working on my diet and exercise plan.

Well I have been deathly sick for the past week and can't seem to get over it. Add on top of that finding out that Cooper could be allergic to tons of stuff and it makes one very stressed out mommy. Cooper goes for more testing on Friday so hopefully we will know more then.

Hopefully I'll be back to the regularly scheduled programming soon.

Honestly, some day I swear I will start posting here. Life has been so hectic and I've been exhausted lately. Hopefully soon...
